"The Girls" refer specifically to a group that started with Haruka's female classmates, and as the story progressed expanded in membership to include some of the otherworlders. The girls generally travel together, fight together, bathe together, have battle royal over food against each other, exercise together, and hold nightly Girl Meetings where they mostly talked about Haruka.
Class Rep is their de facto leader.
While most of the girls are of high-school age, a few of the extended members are a bit younger or older.
Note that the Dungeon Emperors, such as Angelica, are typically treated as a distinct separate group and are not included in "the girls".
The Black-Haired Princesses[]
20 of the 43 classmates were girls (only 16 in the anime adaptation). Most of the time they fight together as a Legion, but sometimes split into teams of smaller parties. By the end of the Kingdom Civil War, the group became known as the "Black-Haired Princesses" (黒髪の美姫たち). They form the core group of The Girls.

While Haruka calls the latter three "Vice Rep", it was never made clear which if any of them are actually the vice class representative. Haruka just calls them that because they are often seen by Class Rep's side.

The Literature Club aka Arts Club (文化部, Bunkabu. lit. "Culture Clubs") are girls whose extracurricular activities are on the culture/humanities side (as opposed to athletics).
Haruka nicknamed these girls by the club or committee they are involved in.
